Smokey Numbers Brushes - [link]

A complete brush pack of all 26 letters of the English alphabet. Each letter has two versions (in case you don't like the way the smoke works in one) and also comes in lower case, totaling four brushes per letter. This pack is enormous and should fulfill all your smokey lettering needs. Each and every letter was simulated separately, so there will be no repeated or reused smoke patterns.

105 brushes included! Very high resolution.

No attribution required, but feel free to +fav and leave some comments or feedback! Hopefully you guys find a use for this :D

wait a min. here.....you made these? nice work fly guy! thumbz up award! oh yeah, happy belated birthday! what did you do besides the obvious--get smashfaced drunk?
:iconeliskan:
Yeah I made them using 3ds Max and FumeFX.. took quite a while too, but I'm happy with the result. I didn't see any brushes like this either so it should fill a unique niche :)

As for my birthday it was unfortunately really boring. Aside from the smash-faced drunk part, naturally. My older sister was supposed to come into town for a few weeks, since she's moving to England to go to Cambridge University and won't be in America for like two years.. But I guess her Visa was giving her problems so she couldn't even come down, I was looking forwards to that lol
:iconboot-cheese-3000:
man that sucks. well there's the holiday season right? and you're right, your smokin' font brushes are definitely what's needed, too many brushes out there with the same fuckin' theme these days.
:iconeliskan:
Next I'm going to do numbers and all those !@#$%^& characters.. Then I think I might do something similar, but make fire brushes instead of smokes (I can use the same program to do it)

I figure it never hurts to contribute, especially when it can help me gain some much needed recognition. I've been trying to get into commissions but there's simply no demand for my work yet. Maybe after I provide enough resources and gain a stable fan base, someone will pop up who likes what I do and would be willing to pay for it!

Even a few bucks would be better then nothing at all.. I haven't made a cent on 3ds Max since starting a year ago..

damn, just like that there fly guy? well all these things take time so it's all about that at the moment. if you do build up a nice portfolio then the offers will start avalanching so hard you won't be able to shield yourself from it quickly enough. trust me people will find uses for these brushes and you'll be the first to contact when the time arises.:-)i know i'll have a use for them when i need them.
:iconeliskan:
Yeah that's what I figure, the bigger the portfolio the better of a chance I'll get of landing a commission. Those slimes were actually going to be a commission but I decided to do them for free, just cuz I've known Wanizame for so long and felt like helping him out. But I think I'm probably going to start charging for my work just so I can make some monies..
:iconboot-cheese-3000:
slimes? you talking about some other brushes you created?
:iconeliskan:
lol look in my gallery and you'll see like 20 or 30 slimes. I still need to do one or two more but I'm kinda taking a breather from them since I'm all slimed out ATM. But yeah they're these crazy monsters for my friends RPG, slimey critters which eat you.. and.. I dunno. Roll around. >.>
:iconboot-cheese-3000:
ok, slimebusters got their hands busy at the moment then.
